Deluxe drop blinds are also often referred to as Outdoor blinds, Patio blinds, Gear operated outdoor blinds, Lapa blinds, Roller screens or Restaurant/Café blinds. These blinds roll up neatly onto a tube, when not in use, and are raised and lowered by means of a removable crank handle. Motorisation of these blinds is also possible. Drop blinds are usually secured at the bottom by means of stainless steel “S” hooks but other securing systems are available. Drop blinds are an economical and functional choice allowing maximum all year-round use of entertainment and restaurant areas from inclement weather. They also afford privacy in certain applications.
