Coach Blinds

Coach/Bus Blinds are also referred to as Bus Blinds, Coach Sun Blinds, Locomotive Blinds or Coach Screen Blinds. Our Coach/Bus Blinds have specifically been developed for the local coach and locomotive building Industry in South Africa and we are the only local manufacturer of a complete range of Coach/ Bus Blinds. Our Coach/Bus Blinds are spring loaded roller blinds housed in an aluminium cassette with various manual controls including 12 and 24volt motorisation. They are available in either a rapid spring return mode or in an Eezi-up slow return mode if a manual operation is required. Special pull handles, cord release controls, side rod supports and hold down brackets have been developed for the local coach and locomotive industry. Coach/Bus Blinds are used for a variety of applications such as a driver sun visor (front screen blind) or even a passenger night or sun blind (side screen blind). The driver blind has a “lazy” cord mechanism allowing the driver to stop the blind in any desired position. This blind is supported on the sides by means of aluminium support/guide rods. The side screen blind is a free flowing/hanging blind and is usually fixed at the bottom under tension by means of special hold down brackets. All Coach/Bus Blinds are made to measure and come in a range of fabrics (solid and semi-transparent) grey and charcoal being our standard. Fire retarded fabrics are also available.
